Notice

Water Utility Well #9, which is located on the east side of Madison and serves an area between Monona Drive and Stoughton Road, south of Cottage Grove Road and areas south of Pflaum Road, will be temporarily out of service the week beginning Monday, September 29, due to construction of nearby water mains.  Water for area neighborhoods will be supplied by other wells in the system.  Neighbors should not see any interruption in service, but they may experience an increase in water pressure or a temporary water discoloration as the switch-over occurs.

If you do experience discolored water, the Water Utility recommends flushing a cold water tap closest to the water meter, usually a basement utility sink, for 20-30 minutes or until the color clears.  Please contact the Water Utility at 266-4654 if the color persists.
